ABOUT

Tyler is a choral conductor and a teacher who has a passion for the arts and bringing strong musical experiences to the classroom. Tyler has had the privilege of performing under the baton of dozens of conductors in his lifetime, and through these experiences has developed a pedagogical perspective on music education centered on creating a healthy environment for learning. He believes that choral ensembles serve as vessels to foster connections and trust between students and allow them to express vulnerability and emotions they don't often get to in other content areas.

 

Through the implementation of this ideaology, the level of understanding between student and teacher that is established leads to making memorable, diverse, and historically informed products.
